Yes, Johns course is on the pricey side, but what most people need to remember is the skills he teaches are topics that most would charge thousands just to start. So, in actuality John is giving lots of value in this platform.
I do think that if you are more comfortable working on your website first, then that is what you should concentrate on. However, keep in mind that the course john teaches are skills you will need to scale up your earnings from your website.

Yes, John is a legend of affiliate marketing. Choresmatic and impressive. I used to be a member of his Super Affiliate System as well.
His knowledge of the topic of affiliate marketing is huge. And the manner of teaching is excellent. But as you said, the price was too high for me. I wasn’t in the position to invest that much upfront. And I quit after three weeks or so. Of course, I received my money back.
I wasn’t expecting to have to invest even more money into the business, as I was deciding whether to buy the course. What I mean is that John’s course is all about properly investing in paid ads, like Google Ads, Display Ads, Youtube ads, and so on.
For a broke that I was, and lack of any affiliate marketing experience at that time, I experimented with what he was teaching, and I failed. So, I quit.
I was just not ready for the big business of paid ads.
If someone is ready for that, it’s fine. I enjoyed his lessons.
